One inbox, read by the people who built this. No ticket queue, no chatbot, and no contact form — for a reason worth explaining.
Email us
We aim to reply within a few days. Online Clipboards is run by a small independent team, so this is a best effort rather than a support commitment.
What are you writing about?
Pick the closest one and it will open your mail app with the subject line already filled in. That is the whole triage system, so it helps more than it looks like it should.
Something is broken, or will not work
Which browsers and devices were on each end, what you expected, and what happened instead. If a transfer failed, whether both devices showed as connected at the time. Please do not send us a clipboard link — it is a live credential, and we cannot read the contents anyway.
Email with subject “Bug report”You found a security flaw
These get read first. Tell us what you found and how to reproduce it, and give us a reasonable window to fix it before publishing. Testing against your own clipboards is welcome; anything that degrades the service for other people, or that reaches into clipboards that are not yours, is not. We have no bounty programme and will not pretend otherwise, but credit is yours if you want it.
Email with subject “Security disclosure”Reporting abuse, or a legal notice
Include the clipboard name or id and what you observed. Read the limits below first — they are real, and they shape what a useful report looks like. Copyright and other legal notices reach the same inbox.
Email with subject “Abuse report”A privacy or data request
Access, deletion, or a question about the Privacy Policy under the GDPR, the CCPA, the DPDP Act or your local equivalent. Worth knowing before you write: there is no account and no record tied to you, so in almost every case the honest answer is that we hold nothing of yours to act on.
Email with subject “Privacy request”Anything else
Feedback, a feature you keep wishing existed, press questions, or an argument that something on this site is overstated. The last of those is genuinely welcome.
Email with subject “Hello”The one thing we cannot help with
We cannot recover a clipboard, or see what was in one
If you lost the link, closed the tab, or the clipboard expired, it is gone, and no email to us can bring it back. The key that decrypts it was only ever in your link — we never received a copy, so there is nothing on our side to restore it from. The same fact is why we cannot read a clipboard’s contents to check, moderate or confirm anything about them, even when asked to.
This is the design working as intended rather than a support limitation, and the security page explains why it has to be this way.
Never send us a clipboard link
A full link contains the decryption key after the #. Emailing it to us hands over exactly what the design spent all its effort keeping from us, and puts it in an inbox to boot. If a report needs to identify a clipboard, send the id or the name from the address bar and nothing after the #.
Why there is no contact form
A form would be more convenient, and we decided against it deliberately. These pages carry a Content Security Policy that forbids submitting a form anywhere at all, which is one of the things stopping a compromised clipboard page from posting your decryption key off to somebody. Adding a support form means weakening that rule site-wide, and a slightly nicer contact experience is not worth a hole in the thing protecting every clipboard. So: plain email.
Before you write
Most questions we get are already answered, and usually faster than we can reply:
- The FAQ on the home page — how it works, file sizes, what the mirror can and cannot do.
- How the encryption works — including what it does not protect against.
- The Privacy Policy — every piece of data we receive, and how long it lasts.
Postal and legal
Online Clipboards is operated independently from India. Formal notices should go to hello@onlineclipboards.com with “Legal notice” in the subject, and we will provide a postal address on request where one is genuinely required. See also the Terms & Conditions.
